Many brides these days are looking for nontraditional unique wedding dresses, are you one of them? What are Unique wedding dresses anyway? Well I guess that depends on the bride and how unique it has to be, but for the most part, it means that the gown you are wearing probably won't be on anyone else at any weddings you go to soon, it will be beautiful of course, but also memorable.
Need
some ideas for nontraditional unique wedding dresses? Here are a few
to consider:
Whether you want to add a splash of color or shock the crowd with a bold but very stunning look, colored wedding dresses are becoming more and more popular. They break up or eliminate the whiteness and virginal look that wedding dresses have shown us for generations. They show a bride who is independent and unafraid of breaking the traditional dress code.
There are many ways to go with this style. You can choose a solid color – pastel or bold and commit to a colored wedding dress. You could have a traditional wedding gown of white or cream with a little color – like the waist or hems, or it could be more colored than white or somewhere in between.
If you really want to personalize your wedding you might want to consider doing so by choosing a dress to wear which either celebrates your heritage or your soon to be husbands. This could include using a color that is easily identifiable with the heritage in question, or a specific type of gown.
Maybe you love the white dress but the length or the bulk of the traditional wedding gown is what is scaring you away. Well if that is the case have you considered wearing a shorter dress?
Whether you are just trimming a few inches off the hemline or wearing something more drastic such as a dress that barely skims your knees a short dress certainly falls in the description of nontraditional unique wedding dresses.
Do you want nontraditional unique wedding dresses so unique and nontraditional that the final choice is not even a dress? How about a pantsuit? Pantsuits can still be stunning and dressy, but you might be even more comfortable. Wearing something other than a dress might be as unique as a wedding ensemble as you can find, of course only you will know if it is something you feel comfortable wearing.
